Our guests, craving the unparalleled attention to detail that is evident all throughout Great Bear Golf & Country Club, return time and time again to pay tribute to our spectacular golf course designed by the Golden Bear himself, Jack Nicklaus.This trademark Jack Nicklaus course is situated along the side of a mountain and spread out over 460 picturesque acres. The design includes numerous mature trees lining the relatively flat fairways. The greens are fast and challenging to read. The signature hole is #7, a 158-yard, par 3, which features an elevated tee situated on top of a rock quarry. The hole requires a tee shot over a gully to a well-guarded, elevated green. The view looking back from the green is fantastic with an excellent view of the surrounding mountains, as well as the rock quarry that the tee box is perched upon. Tee times are available after 12pm on weekends, Thursday Morning Special before 11am, Friday Morning Only before 10am and anytime Monday - Thursday. |
